JDSN Collaboration
JDSN Collaboration is a web-based suite of tools that provides the Supplier with a common, electronic means of communication with John Deere personnel via the Internet. Supplier availability to these individual tools will depend on John Deere units' ability to support these tools from a technical and business readiness perspective. When fully deployed and if a John Deere unit has granted full access, the Supplier will have access to the following JDSN Collaboration tools. Supplier Change Request (SCR) Allows suppliers to submit change request for design or process related changes in conformance with the Supplier Quality manual. Part Search Allows suppliers to view basic part information and geometry. Part Plan Search Allows suppliers to manage John Deere assigned quality activities. Quote Search Allows suppliers to view requests for quotations (RFQ) and to submit quotations back to the John Deere requestor in response to the RFQ. Drawing Format Preference (DFP) Allows viewing, adding and editing geometry formats for one or more units. File Transfer Allows Suppliers to transfer supplier owned geometry to Deere in an encrypted and secure utility.
